Capturing the attention of event goers is becoming increasingly more difficult. It seems as though the “been there, done that” mentality must consistently be combated with new and unusual methods. So how to keep the masses entertained? Interactive exhibits are the way to go!
A dear friend called from across the pond to notify me of the newest and possibly coolest interactive exhibit that seems to be popping up all over England: a digital graffiti wall by a company named YrWall. Event goers can create fun pieces of art in their tuxedos with out spilling a drop of paint, then email it to themselves for free or print tee shirts of stickers as a take away. The concept, while high tech and obviously high cost is proving to be an enormous attention getter. This particular system was created by a company call Lumacoustics and the interfacing is done in Adobe Flash. The screen is fantastic for fun event competitions and branding.
I have not been able to identify one in the States yet, but will keep RP Report readers in the loop as I get more information. In the interim, check out UK company YrWall at http://www.yrwall.com/interactive-digital-graffiti.aspx
